What is a user?

A user is any person with an active login to Darzin. Organisation and Local Government licenses are based on the number of Active users, and the number of Concurrent users. For example your license may allow for a total of 50 active users, and 20 concurrent users - this means that at any one time, 20 of your 50 users can be logged in and using Darzin.

Are there any additional fees?

Sending bulk email via our email plug-in means there are no additional costs to send emails. If you use the Text message service (SMS) you will need to purchase credits from a third party provider and have your account linked to Darzin.

Can I purchase additional records for my license?

Organisation licenses can purchase additional records to add to their license. Single project licenses will need to be upgraded to the higher level of project.

What is a record?

A record is a stakeholder, property or interaction.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we can accept payment via credit card. Or if you prefer, we can send you an invoice for an electronic bank transfer.

What are the advantages of an Organisation License?

An organisation license allows for multiple (unlimited) projects. Although you can use filters to separate between different work streams or projects within a Single Project License, it tends to get rather complicated for the users. Organisation licenses also allow you to share information between various projects - settings, stakeholders, interactions and more. Thus enabling knowledge sharing between teams and projects.

How quickly can I get started?

Setting up your account can be done within a few hours. But do allow time for the onboarding and training processes. On average most clients take three weeks to get their team trained, existing data imported and documentation in place.

Can I upgrade from a single project license to an organisation license at a later stage?

Yes, upgrading from a single project license to an organisation license is relatively easy. We will credit the pro-rata balance of your existing license against your new license. (Note that combining two separate individual project licenses into one organisation license is not as simple and will usually incur a cost)

What support is included in the license?

At Darzin we pride ourselves on being a very responsive, service oriented company. We offer support through multiple channels including email, help desk, phone, web. All licenses now also include an implementation support process which provides additional support during implementation, training and coaching. After the implementation process your license still includes ongoing support and maintenance and we continue to be here to help you.
