Manage Stakeholder Relations for Northern Sewerage Project

The Northern Sewerage Project (NSP) involved the construction of 13 km of new sewer tunnels from Reservoir to Pascoe Vale. These new sewer tunnels located deep beneath Melbourne’s densely populated northern suburbs. NSP was a $650 million investment in Melbourne’s future and was completed ahead of time and under budget. This Water Project was an alliance between Melbourne Water, Yarra Valley Water, and John Holland.

Darzin was used to manage all stakeholder relations during the construction phase.

The new sewer runs from Reservoir to Pascoe Vale and Essendon and connects to Melbourne’s existing sewerage system.  It caters for Melbourne’s fast growing northern suburbs and will protect Moonee Ponds and Merri Creeks from sewage spills after heavy rain.
